Creative Scrappers: Sketch #234

This week at Creative Scrappers, it was Team B's turn to reveal their designs using this Kiki Halbert sketch:

Never one to shy away from a great sketch, I made sure to pack it with my scrappy supplies as I headed to Cape Breton for the weekend to surprise my sister and some friends at a local crop in my hometown. It was a blast!! Here is what I did with the sketch:

I have always loved this photo! It's of me and my best man on my wedding day, being silly as ever. Lately, I've been having fun cutting right into my pictures. And that's exactly what I did with this one - yes, that originally was a 4X6 picture that I just cropped and cropped and cropped some more until I got the right sizes I was looking for. I used some Lily Bee Design and Stampin' Up patterned paper, Lily Bee Design and My Little Shoebox alphas, Prima flowers, American Crafts brads, the ever-so-faithful Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze, and a splash of buttons by Basic Grey, Close to My Heart and my Maman's vintage stash!!
