Let's Capture Our Memories: Sketch #19

Hello, everyone!

This week at Let's Capture Our Memories, its very own owner, Isabelle Perreault-Doucette, provided us with a great sketch to work with:

Since Isabelle was hosting an LCOM crop in town, it was perfect timing to bring this sketch with me and get my scrap on! Here is what I came up with:

A colleague of mine asked me to make a simple earth-toned layout of some of her pets she's had over the past several years. The four photo prompt of this sketch was just perfect to fit four of her fur babies. Used lots of Basic Grey's Little Black Dress collection, but also some Pink Paislee, Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Kaisercraft and random stuff some of my scrappy friends at the crop handed me over. My scrapbooking peeps are seriously the BEST!!

Here are two more layouts I made over the course of the day:

Using sketches by PageMaps and Kristine Davidson, I scrapped with some Basic Grey, American Crafts, Tattered Angels, Kaisercraft, Stampin' Up, Close to My Heart, Fancy Pants Designs, Maya Road, Jillibean Soup, Prima, and some office supplies I found in my stash throughout the day.

Now, please come back tomorrow, when I will draw one lucky winner from those of you who left a comment on my NDS 2013 blog post until the end of today, May 12, 2013. As promised, the lucky winner will receive a wonderful prize pack from my very own scrap stash - scrap happiness guaranteed!! See you tomorrow!

And I can't do a blog post on Mother's Day without wishing all of you moms out there a terrific day - may you be a mother and/or a mother figure to anyone and/or to any pets. Enjoy YOUR day!!

Happy scrapping!

  1. Your LOs are beautiful Aurelie! I like how you did the sketch challenge. The banner and the little lace doily in the corner are great embellies.
The rustic Christmas one and the monochromatic anniversary LO are so well done.
    Thanks for the inspiration! :)
